Contracts that read the same in both languages.
Agreements, patents, court and corporate documents translated for legal review
Every clause keeps its number, its meaning and its place
Legal wording carries consequences, so a legal translation is not a retelling. Each clause is matched to its source, defined terms stay defined, and the structure a lawyer expects is still there when the document is opened on the other side.
translation
Documents that end up in front of a lawyer, a registry or a partner
Contracts and agreements
Supply and service contracts, NDAs, employment and lease agreements, terms of service, shareholder and partnership documents.
Patents and technical IP
Patent applications, claims and specifications, licensing documents and technical exhibits where one wrong term changes the scope.
Court and litigation files
Statements of claim, affidavits, orders, judgments, evidence bundles and correspondence prepared for cross-border proceedings.
Corporate records
Articles and bylaws, resolutions, registry extracts, powers of attorney, audit and compliance documents for filings abroad.
From your file to a translation you can file
Business translation is priced per source word, so the quote is arithmetic rather than an estimate: $0.10 to $0.20 depending on subject, format and volume, with a minimum of $99 per order and no surcharge for rush work. You see the figure and the deadline before anyone starts typing.
Send the file
Upload through the order form or email it. Tell us the target language, the deadline and who will receive the translation.
Get the quote
We count the words, check the formatting and confirm whether certification is needed. The price and delivery date come back in writing.
Translation and review
A translator experienced in legal texts does the work against a glossary of your defined terms; a second pass checks numbers, names and clause references.
Delivery
You receive the translation in the original layout, with a signed certification statement when the receiving side requires one.
Documents you would not email to a stranger
Encrypted transfer
Files move over encrypted connections and are shared only with the translators assigned to your file, never with a public pool.
NDA on request
We sign your non-disclosure agreement, or ours, before the documents arrive if that is how your firm works.
PIPEDA-aligned handling
Personal information inside your documents is handled in line with Canadian federal privacy rules and kept only as long as the project requires.
Before you send the contract
How much does legal translation cost?
Legal and business translation is quoted per source word, from $0.10 to $0.20 depending on subject, format and volume, with a minimum of $99 per order. There is no surcharge for rush work. You get the exact figure and the deadline before we start. See our pricing page for personal documents.
Does a contract translation need to be certified?
In most cases business translations do not need certification. Certification does not reflect the quality of the translation; it simply means less paperwork for the receiving side. If a court, registry or partner asks for a certified, ATIA-certified or notarized version, tell us and we will prepare it in that form. Here is which type is which.
How do you protect confidential documents?
Files are transferred over encrypted connections and shared only with the translators assigned to your file. We sign a non-disclosure agreement on request and handle personal information in line with PIPEDA.
Will the layout of my contract be kept?
Yes. Numbering, clause structure, tables, schedules and signature blocks are reproduced so the translation can be read side by side with the original.
Can you handle a large filing on a deadline?
Yes. For files over 20 pages we assemble a team with a shared glossary so terminology stays consistent across the set, and we agree the delivery schedule with you in advance.
Send the contract, get the number
Upload the file and tell us the target language, the deadline and who receives the translation. We reply with a per-word quote, the delivery date and the certification option that fits.
